Hello!! I present today my creation for the moodboard of April presented on the blog of Mixed Media & Art. I fell in love with this moodboard, I love the spring side! I was inspired by the colors, the sketch and the flowers!
Here is my layout! My daughter asked me for a few days a picture of her and her doll. They have the same pajamas and Clara wanted to make a scrapbooking layout on the subject. Finally, I liked the photo very much, so I used it too to make my layout!
I started my layout with a paper by Ella & Viv paper cie, on which I applied a thin coat of clear gesso. I then used a Prima Marketing stamp as well as a Lime Citron stamp with Archival "Jet Black" ink. I made my usual mix of heavy gesso and Arts Stone Mini, to which I added microbeads of 13 @rts. I have colored my mixture by adding ink in pale pink spray. Before it dries, I add Stampandous flakes. Using a watercolor brush, I added my pale pink and mint green colors.
I then added lace, wooden chipboards, sisal and a plastic net containing Easter coco (well, recovery is important!) I also added a tag of 7Dots Studio, a Scrap Fx chipboard, Prima Marketing's Wired Thread, diecuts made using a Memory Box die and a few sequins.
My flowers are made by hand, with white foam. I inked them with Color Philosophy from Prima Marketing. I added foliage cuts (Cherry Lynn and Paper Smooch). I also added 13 @rts microbeads for finishing.
Finally, for my title, I used a chipboard from the Quebec company Cuts 2 Luv that I first inked in black. But I did not like the result, so I added some embossing powder over it. To finish, I added a 123 Scrap sticker and drops of white paint of 13 @rts.
