Memories

Hello! I present today my creation for the challenge of the month on the blog of 7Dots Studio. The subject being our favorite historic person, who has changed the world or is important to us.

https://7dotsstudio.com/archives/29311

I chose a person who is not known, who is not known to all at least. This is my maternal grandfather, my papi. This man was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and I'm sure he would have been the most fantastic of great-grandfathers for my daughter and my nieces. He worked like a madman, all his life so that his family was comfortable. He was not rich monetarily speaking, but he had a united and happy family. He was leaving weeks and weeks working in the great north of Quebec to support his family, he sacrificed a lot of time with them so that she could run out of nothing. He died when I was 10 years old. But I will always remember this man as a great grandfather who loved more than all his little children. He spent some time doing snow forts with us, building igloos, going for a "machine" ride just for the pleasure of touring the city. He always took for us, even when we were doing bad things, to the great despair of my grandmother and mother! I will always remember the rivalry between us 2 when we were listening to a Canadien / Nordique hockey game together. This man has not been on my side for very long, but I will never forget it. He is a very important person in my family's eyes!
